#Euro2024: UEFA announces referee for Spain vs England final

UEFA has confirmed that Francois Letexier will be the referee for the Euro 2024 final match between Spain and England.

The 35-year-old French official has previously been selected as a referee for three matches at Euro 2024, including Spain’s round of 16 game against Georgia, and the group-stage matches between Denmark and Serbia and Croatia vs. Albania.

Letexier has experience officiating high-profile games in the past, including being the referee for the 2023 UEFA Super Cup final between Manchester City and Sevilla and serving as the fourth official for the 2024 Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

For the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England, Letexier will be supported by two French assistant referees, while Polish referee Szymon Marciniak, who received praise for his performance in the 2022 World Cup final, will be the fourth official.
