Reports now indicate that England have suffered a shocking injury blow ahead of the must win Denmark Euro 2024 fixture.

Latest update indicate that England's left back Luke Shaw is not availble for the Euro 2024 fixture against Denmark scheduled to be played on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

England is aiming to secure their second consecutive victory at Euro 2024 when they play against Denmark on Thursday evening. However, manager Gareth Southgate may be missing a key player for this game as the team seeks to qualify for the knockout stages.

Despite a lackluster performance, England's 1-0 win against Serbia on Sunday provided a positive start to their tournament. Jude Bellingham scored the only goal with a header in the 13th minute, stepping up while players like Phil Foden and Harry Kane struggled. Kieran Trippier performed well at left-back in place of the injured Luke Shaw.

Shaw, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since February, has not participated in team training, raising concerns about his availability. Despite doing individual work, he has yet to join full training, posing a potential issue for Southgate's squad selection.

It is expected that Trippier will continue at left-back against Denmark, who drew 1-1 with Slovenia in their first match. Christian Eriksen scored for Denmark in the 17th minute, marking his return three years after his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020. Slovenia equalized through Erik Janza, posing a constant threat throughout the match.
