Erling Haaland gives update on his injury ahead of Liverpool clash
Manchester City's forward player, Erling Haaland has reacted to the injury he suffered while on duty with the Norwegian national team.
The 23-year-old was ruled out of Norway's match against Scotland on Sunday, November 19, 2023, as he undergoes treatment for an injury he sustained earlier in the week. Erling Haaland posted on his X account on Saturday, November 18, 2023, with the caption saying he is "trying to get back ASAP" as attention turns to the game against Liverpool on November 25, 2023.
"Unfortunately, I am missing tomorrow’s game against Scotland. Wishing the boys all the best. Now treatment and trying to get back asap"
The news from Norway's camp is that the injury is not serious, it is presumed that it was the same one he felt in the league game against Bournemouth.
The team doctor said after the game against Faroe Island,
"It was much of the same that happened against Bournemouth a week and a half ago. He has had it before too. He gets a slight twist in his ankle, where he is a bit vulnerable. It hurts a lot right away, and then it goes away pretty quickly. Then we will see tomorrow how he is then."
Manchester City supporters will hope he passes a late fitness test before the game against Liverpool.
