Erling Haaland faces possible punishment from the English FA

Manchester City's talisman, Erling Haaland could get himself in the bad book of the English FA following his reaction after the game against Tottenham.

The Norwegian international blasted the referee Simon Hooper after he decided to stop an attack from Manchester City which was spearheaded by Jack Grealish. According to reports, Erling Haaland could be a match suspension or he could be asked to pay a fine.

What led to Erling Haaland's outburst?

A Tottenham player fouled Erling Haaland towards center of the pitch and the referee waved play on because the Cityzens had the ball. However, as the ball got to Greaalish who was through on goal, the referee decided to stop the play for City to take their free kick.

The English FA are yet to release a statement concerning the situation but reports are suggesting that Haaland will not go unpunished. The match ended 3-3, which means that City have drawn their last three games in the league ( Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham.
