Erling Haaland bags another prestigious award

Manchester City's forward player, Erling Haaland has been named the winner of the Golden Player Man Award at the Golden 2023 ceremony.

The Norwegian international was named the winner of the award due to his impLeaguee performance with Manchester City during their treble-winning season. Erling Haaland shone like a shining star since he completed his move from Borussia Dortmund to the Premier League breaking every record that is available to him in England.

The 22-year-old scored 36 goals in the Premier League, 12 goals in the Champions League, three goals in the FA Cup and one goal in the Carabao Cup. The PFA members vote for the winners of each award, choosing the players they feel have put in the best performances all year.

The organisers of the award showered praises on the performance of Haaland during the 2022/23 season, his numbers were the reason why he won the award.

"A crazy season, the numbers, the trophies, the goals. Everything says Erling Haaland was the best player of last season. With City, he won everything."

Haaland will hope he can continue his fantastic form this season and help City win more trophies and he also wins individual awards on the other hand.
