The manager of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag has sent a message to Jadon Sancho about his future at the club.

Both parties have been at loggerheads in the past few weeks after the game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Erik Ten Hag was asked during the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Burnley what the future holds for Jadon Sancho at the club.

"It depends on him. For the rest, we are preparing for Burnley and that's our focus. He will not be in the squad."

Recall that Ten Hag said Sancho was dropped due to his form in training but the player debunked the statement on his official X account stating that the narrative was false.

Please don't believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair. All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!."

He has since deleted the post but he was not considered for selection in the losses to Brighton and Bayern Munich. Manchester United have temporarily suspended the midfielder from the first team pending when investigations are completed.
