MANCHESTER UNITED SET UNIMAGINABLE RECORD ON PREMIER LEAGUE'S 30TH ANNIVERSARY

Manchester United were beaten at the London Stadium where they played Brentford on the second weekend of the Premier League. Erik Ten Hag took the blame for the defeat and apologised to the supporters of the club.

The team has to take the responsibility. I feel sorry for the fans. I asked them to play with belief and take responsibility, that is what they didn't do.

The Dutchman also spoke about the possibility of the Red Devils getting to sign new players before the end of the transfer window. He also said all the team needs to do now is to stick together during this tough period.

New signings? Yes. We need new players and quality players. We will try and convince them to join us. Only when we stick together we will overcome it. The manager is the main responsibility and I take that.

The Red Devils will play Liverpool in their next league game on Monday, August 22nd, 2022. The Reds beat Manchester United 9-0 on aggregate in the league last season.
