Ten Hag was a subject of discussion in Ronaldo's interview with Piers Morgan before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup got a lot of reactions from football supporters around the world. The Portuguese International accused the Dutchman of not showing him enough respect siting the incident in the game against Tottenham as an example.
He reacted for the first time to the incident in an interview with the media team of Manchester United which was released on the club's official website. He said everything about the incident is in the past and is gone.
He is gone. It’s the past and we’re now looking forward to the future.
Ronaldo also accused the hierarchy at the club, "The Glazers" family of not showing interest in the development of the club. Ten Hag will hope he can push Manchester United to a top-four finish and probably win a trophy at the end of the season.
