The manager of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag has introduced a similar training routine in his first few days of taking charge of the club.

The Dutchman asked the players to resume training at 9 am whenever they are expected to be at the Carrington ground. According to reports from a source who confirmed to Manchester Evening News said the last time the training session was held at 9 am was during the days of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The first set of players arrived training session on Monday around 9:30 am to meet their new manager, who arrived at Carrington around 8 am. The players underwent routine medical tests and gym work before heading out to the training pitch in the afternoon.

The Dutchman addressed a combined group of the first-team and the Under-21 player, McClaren and Van der Gaag were also available for the training session.
