Enzo Maresca reveals why he dropped Cole Palmer against Arsenal

Chelsea's playmaker, Cole Palmer was left out of the North London derby matchday squad by Enzo Maresca between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
The Blues head coach, Enzo Maresca explained to the supporters of the club why he decided not to include Cole Palmer against Arsenal which is one of the most crucial games of the season for Chelsea. According to the Italian, the midfielder felt something in the last training session before the game hence his reason for not picking him.
Why did Enzo Maresca leave out Cole Palmer against Arsenal?
"Last week, as we know, he had some problem and unfortunately yesterday he had a very small problem and we think that probably after the international break he will be ready to be back with us. He had an injury yesterday during the session. It was a very light session and that's why we think it's nothing important. We still need to wait and we hope he can be back after the international break."
The last match that Palmer missed for Chelsea in the Premier League was the same fixture last season, which ended in a 5-0 loss for the Blues. However, there is good news for Maresca with the return of Beniot Badiashile, and Wesley Fofana back to the match squad.
