Enzo Maresca gives an update on Chelsea's injured players

The head coach of Chelsea, Enzo Maresca has given an update on the injured players at the club ahead of the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Maresca was speaking at the pre-match press conference where he was asked about the fitness to his forward players. He confirmed that Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke will all be available for the game against Tottenham.

He said,

"Cole Palmer is back, he is okay. Noni Madueke is better. Nico Jackson is better. They are all good."

The Italian also spoke about his fitness of Romeo Lavia who has also been on the list of injured players at Chelsea.

"He was doing better in terms of progress but unfortunately one or two days ago he had a small problem, so we will see in the next hours.”

Chelsea have been in poor form since the beginning of the year and this has been worrisome to the supporters of the club in recent weeks. However, Maresca feels everyone at the club had always been given their best since the start of this season.

The Blues supporters will hope that they can get maximum points against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
