Watford suffered yet another defeat in their quest to steer clear of the relegation waters at the hands of an in-form Norwich City.
Norwich defeated Watford to clinch their second win of the month of January 2022. This result came as a shocker to many who had written Norwich off before kickoff.
Josh Sargent scored his first goals in the Premier League in a 3-0 win over Watford. This scoreline propelled Norwich out of the relegation waters and kept them abreast and above their relegation rivals.
Watford managed to hang on in the game till the 51st minute, when Josh Sargent scored with an incredible scorpion kick off of a Pukki low cross. Sargent then went on to double the lead in the 74th minute of the game after a brief pause in the game on the grounds of floodlight failure.
