Edouard Mendy Reportedly Set to Join Another Premier League Club
Chelsea's goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy could be on his way to the Blues fellow London team, Tottenham Hotspur ahead of next season.
Spurs are looking to sign a replacement for Hugo Lloris who has been out of form this season since he returned from an injury he sustained just weeks after the just-concluded FIFA World Cup which was hosted in Qatar. Chelsea are looking to trim their squad to a sizeable number during the summer and Mendy is reportedly on the list of players that will leave the club.
There are reports from the Daily Mail that Spurs are monitoring the contract situation of Mendy whose contract ends in 2025. He was a key part of the Chelsea team that won the Champions League under Thomas Tuchel.
He has not been in the same form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations. He has also suffered from injuries which has seen him become second-fiddle to Kepa Arrizabalaga.
