Eden Hazard Reportedly Rejects Bid to Join Newcastle United

Eden Hazard has reportedly rejected a bid of £42 million to join Premier League strugglers Newcastle United.

The Belgian has struggled to find the form he had at Chelsea before moving to the Galacticos during the summer of 2019 for £80 million. According to reports from El Nacional, Real Madrid already accepted the offer of £33.4 million plus £8.3 million in add-ons.

The new owners at Newcastle United are desperate to ensure the club avoids relegation and build a stronger team next season. Hazard has struggled with spending more time on the sideline than he has on the field of play because of injuries to different parts of his legs.

The player has been linked with a return to Chelsea for a second spell. The Belgian played for the London club for over seven years, scoring 110 goals and 92 assists in 352 games.
