Eddie Howe clears the air on Newcastle United bid for Lewis Hall

The manager of Newcastle United, Eddie Howe has cleared the air about the possibility of Lewis Hall joining the club.

Eddie Howe was speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of his game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, August 19, 2023. He was asked about what he thinks of Lewis Hall as a player and if the deal was a loan move.

"Let’s wait and see what happens today. He [Lewis Hall] is a player that I like, very versatile and very good potential. Yes (a loan) I think it is".

Hall was fantastic when he played for Chelsea last season and will be a huge addition to the Newcastle squad as they will be looking to have a deep squad because of their participation in the UEFA Champions League.

Some Chelsea supporters have also been asking the club not to sell the player to any club.
