Diogo Jota Sets Premier League Record

Liverpool's forward player, Diogo Jota has set a Premier League record for himself since he joined the Reds.

The Portuguese scored the opening goal of the game with his head against Watford on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at Anfield. Jota has now scored more headed goals (9) than any player in the Premier League since he joined the Reds.

Jota has scored seven of his 23 Premier League goals for Liverpool with his head, with no player getting more headers in the competition since his debut for the Reds in September 2020.

Only four players have scored more than four goals with their head, left leg and right leg this season, it includes Robert Lewandowski, Edin Dzeko, and Patrik Schick. Liverpool fans will hope he continues in his form as they continue their quest to win the Premier League title.
