Simeone was speaking in an interview with Marca where he was asked about the statement which was made by Felix. The Portuguese said, he is a player who “wants to have the ball and play with happiness” in his interview which was released on Chelsea's website.
Simeone responded by saying he wished Felix well in his short time at Chelsea.
I am not going to dwell on such a long explanation. He [Felix] has extraordinary qualities, he is young and has the enthusiasm to show his football, I hope he does well wherever he is.
The Portuguese joined Chelsea during the 2023 January transfer window on a six-month loan deal for a whopping £11 million. He impressed a lot of Chelsea supporters in his debut against Fulham despite picking up a red card in the 60th minute of the game.
However, Chelsea do not have a buy option clause in the deal but the belief is that they will get him permanently if they want to.
