David De Gea Ruled Out of Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup

Manchester United's number-one, shot-stopper, David De Gea has been reportedly ruled out of the FIFA World Cup.

The name of the goalkeeper was omitted from the provisional 55-man list which was released by the coach of the team, Luis Enrique. This was a shock to most football fans around the world following his form for the Red Devils this calendar year.

Enrique released the names of five players for each position of which three names per position will make the final list. The five goalkeepers on the list include; Unai Simon, Robert Sanchez, David Raya, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and David Soria from Getafe.

The deadline for submission for the final squad of the 32 countries that will be participating in the World Cup is on Monday, November 14th, 2022.
