Cristiano Ronaldo became the first person in history to reach over 1 million YouTube subscribers in less than one hour after he announced his own YouTube channel named UR. The forward player announced the channel on his official social media accounts on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star who has no TikTok presence yet is ranked the most-followed person on social media with 917 million followers. Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list due to his huge followers on Instagram which is more than 600 million in addition to over 100 million followers on both Facebook and X.
He is followed by Selena Gomez – 688.2 million followers, Justin Bieber – 596.2 million followers, Taylor Swift – 550.5 million followers, and Ariana Grande – 509.8 million followers.

"I am very happy to make this project come to life. It has been in my mind for a long time but finally, we have the opportunity to make it real.
