Former Manchester United forward player, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set for a return to Real Madrid next season.

The contract of the Portuguese International was terminated last season at the Red Devils following an interview he had with Piers Morgan about his relationship with Erik Ten Hag.

Spanish outlet El Nacional confirmed that Real Madrid President confirmed that Ronaldo will not find it difficult to get a job at the club. There are reports that the Portuguese international could get an ambassadorial appointment.

Real Madrid supporters will love to see Ronaldo return to the club because of the success he brought their way in the UEFA Champions League.

Ronaldo could go without winning a trophy this season and has hit the ground running at the Saudi Arabian league despite finding the back 12 times. Al-Nassr now sits in second place in the Saudi Pro League and just three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad, having played a game more, with five games until the end of the season.

Newcastle have emerged as one of the favorites to sign Cristiano Ronaldo amid reports the veteran is seeking an early exit from Al-Nassr. The 38-year-old's £175 million-a-year contract with Al-Nassr runs until 2025.
