The Portuguese joined his voice with millions of people around the world to mourn the Queen. Ronaldo took to his official Instagram account to morin the Queen. According to the player, throughout his eight seasons in the Premier League, he could feel the love the people of the United Kingdom have for the Queen.

Seven years of my career were played in the Premier League, making this my eighth season living in England. Throughout those years, I have felt the everlasting love of the UK for its Queen and how important her Majesty was and will forever be to the British people. I pay my respect to her memory and I will mourn this irreplaceable loss with the country that I have learned to call home. My thoughts and prayers are with the Royal family.

The death of Queen Elizabeth was confirmed by the Royal Family on Thursday, September 8th, 2022, there was no details given to the cause of her death.
