SHARE

Cristiano Ronaldo has now surpassed Lionel Messi's non-penalty goal-scoring record in football history as the 39 year old can't stop scoring.

Two football legends and icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi seem far from done when it comes to setting new records whilst breaking existing records as the Portuguese icon CR7 has now surpassed Messi's goal-scoring record.

Following his heroics for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Professional League, Cristiano Ronaldo has now surpassed Lionel Messi's number of non-penalty goals scored in all competitions.

Ronaldo has now scored 716 non penalty goals for both club and country with Lionel Messi now ranking second with 714 non penalty goals scored in all competitions as well. With the MLS back in action many expect the competition for the highest non-penalty goals scored to be as stiff as they can be as both Messi and Ronaldo can't stop scoring.
