Cristiano Ronaldo in a latest interview has revealed the best football club in the world and the history of the game as a whole.

Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked widespread discussion among fans and analysts by sharing his views on the club he believes is the best in the world today

With a decorated career spanning several continents and a host of achievements, Ronaldo’s opinions hold considerable influence. In a recent interview, the Portuguese star voiced his thoughts on elite club football, causing a stir in the sport.

Ronaldo dismissed claims that Real Madrid’s success is down to luck and stated that he believes the club is the greatest in football history. As the current La Liga and Champions League title holders, Real Madrid enter the 2024-25 season with a strong platform for continued success. The Spanish giants have further strengthened their already formidable squad by signing two of the most exciting talents in world football, Kylian Mbappé and Endrick.

Guided by experienced manager Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid aims to build on their recent victories and extend their dominance in Europe, having won the Champions League six times in the past decade. With a squad packed with talent and a winning mindset, they are well-positioned for another successful season.

In an interview with Rio Ferdinand on his YouTube channel, Ronaldo commented: “Real Madrid are in excellent shape. They don’t crack under pressure, which is why some people say they’re lucky, but it’s not luck. They’re prepared for those moments. The Bernabeu has a special energy, and when big teams visit, they often feel the pressure, especially when Madrid scores late goals. For me, it’s the greatest club in football history.”

He added, “I always say Madrid will improve. With Mbappe now part of the team, they’ll remain strong, though I’m unsure if they’ll surpass last year’s performance. They have a fantastic squad and will undoubtedly be one of the world’s best teams.”

Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s all-time top scorer with 450 goals, recently achieved another milestone by netting his 900th career goal during Portugal’s Nations League win against Croatia, further cementing his reputation as one of the sport's most prolific goal-scorers.
