Here's The Super Falcons Team List Ahead of Women's FIFA World Cup

The coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, Randy Waldrum has released his team list that will represent the country at the next Women's FIFA World Cup.

The team was dominated by foreign-based players, with only two home-based players, Onome Ebi (Abia Angels) and Deborah Abiodun (Rivers Angels), on the roster.

The inclusion of Ebi(40) makes her the oldest African to appear at the Women's World Cup after being named in Nigeria's final squad. She's been part of the Super Falcons since making her debut in 2003. The defender played in the 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 & 2019 World Cups.

Other notable names in the team are Asisat Oshoala, Rashedat Ajibade, and Toni Payne. The Falcons are in Group B alongside Australia, Canada and the Republic of Ireland.

The competition will run for a month starting from July 20, 2023, to August 20, 2023
