Conference League: Chelsea names its squad for the Knockout stage

Chelsea Football Club have added three more players to its European Conference League squad ahead of the competition's knockout stages which will begin in March 2025.
The Blues were allowed to add three more players to their already submitted Conference League squad. Enzo Maresca decided to give the three spots to Cole Palmer, Trevor Chalobah and the club's latest signing Mathis Amougou.
Palmer was initially left out of the Chelsea squad for the group phase to reduce the amount of games that he would have played. The 22-year-old has been key for Enzo Maresca in the Premier League, starting all 24 games so far, and will now be available for the knockout stages of the Conference League as well.
However, Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana were left out of the squad due to the consistent injuries on the side of both players since the beginning of this season. Amougou who was signed from St. Etienne, and Chalobah, who was recalled from his loan spell at Crystal Palace last month, have been included in the final Europa Conference League squad.
Chelsea has been tipped by the bookmakers as the favourite to win the second edition of the Conference League. However, if Enzo Maresca can achieve this feat, the Blues will become the first in history to win the Champions League, Europa League and also the Conference League
