Patrick Vieira has built an extensive coaching career since moving into management in 2016 following his time working with Manchester City’s youth setup.

New York City FC
Vieira began his senior head-coaching career with New York City FC in 2016 after working with Manchester City's youth teams.
During his time in MLS, he established himself as a promising young manager, leading the club to back-to-back Eastern Conference playoff appearances.
He also guided New York City FC to a second-place finish in the 2017 Supporters' Shield race, recording 40 victories in 90 matches during his tenure.

Vieira returned to France in 2018 to take charge of OGC Nice.
