Chris Smalling Reportedly Set for a Return to the Premier League

AS Roma center-back Chris Smalling is reportedly set to make a return to a top club in the Premier League.

The former Manchester United player will be out of contract with the Serie A club at the end of this season. This means that Smalling can speak with any club from January 1st, 2023 when the winter transfer window opens.

Reports from Sky Italia confirmed that two of Serie A’s biggest clubs ( Juventus and Inter Milan) are interested in signing the defender as well as Tottenham who are also interested in signing Smalling. He joined the Yellow and Red during the summer of 2019 and ha enjoyed his game especially when Jose Mourinho joined from Tottenham.

The 32-year-old is seeking to get a two-year-deal from Roma but the reports coming from Italy is that the is being offered just a year deal because of his age.
