It was the worse anticipated news for Chelsea's defender, Ben Chilwell after picking up an injury in the UEFA Champions League.

Chilwell was expected to be one of the first names on Gareth Southgate's 26-man list for England ahead of the FIFA World Cup. The left-back has been ruled out of the competition after picking up a hamstring injury representing the Blues.
The Englishman sent a message to supporters of England, concerning his displeasure that he would not be playing at the World Cup in Qatar. According to him, it was always a dream to play at the most elite competition in the World.
