Chelsea set to bid for Tottenham and Man United's January 2024 transfer target
Chelsea is reportedly poised to shake things up with a possible bid for Man United and Tottenham Hotspur's January 2024 transfer target.
According to reports Chelsea is currently looking for a possible replacement in the defence following their unhappiness with the current form of the club since the start of the 2023/2024 transfer window and the imminent departure of legend, Thiago Silva.
Reports now indicate that The Blues are poised to make a big bid for Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo who is also a target of their main rivals Tottenham and Man United.
According to reports the bid is estimated to be worth over 50 million pounds and Chelsea will be looking to get it done before the January 2024 transfer window ends. It is however uncertain if this will be the only defender purchase the Blues will be making in the January 2024 transfer window.
Football. London reports, "Chelsea are strongly considering a move for Jean-Clair Todibo this month as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add to his pool of central defenders. The Blues have six senior centre-backs to choose from when everyone is fit, but that has not been the case whatsoever this season. The club have seemingly been impressed with what they have seen from the Frenchman, with the defender now being viewed as a serious option this month. Tottenham remain interested in Todibo as well, but Spurs are also looking at Radu Dragusin from Genoa."
