Chelsea supporters receive good news on Christopher Nkunku's injury

Chelsea supporters will get to see one of the players the club bought during the 2023 January transfer window, Christopher Nkunku play a competitive game for the club.

The Blues have been without the French international since the beginning of this season ( 2023/24) after he picked up an injury in the pre-season game against Borussia Dortmund. Christopher Nkunku's absence has been a major blow to the club as they have struggled in front of goal since the start of this campaign.

However, there are several reports that Nkunku will be available for selection when Chelsea host Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Nkunku signed a six-year deal with the Blues which is expected to keep him at the club until the summer of 2029. He scored 35 goals in all competitions during the 2021/22 campaign and was named Bundesliga player of the season and German PFA Player of the season.

Chelsea supporters will hope Nkunku stays fit all through the season and also unlocks the goal-scoring problem at the club.
