The Chelsea women's football club has set a historical record in the Barclays Women's Super League (WSL) in its 4-2 victory over Manchester United.

The Emma Hayes-led Chelsea women's side has won the Barclays Women's Super League (WSL) for the third time following their victory over Manchester United with an emphatic scoreline of 4-2.

Chelsea has finished top on the table with 56 points; goals from Sam Kerr, Guro Reiten and Erin Cuthbert secured the victory for the Blues, who had been a goal down at the beginning of the fixture.

Chelsea is the first team to defend their title three times in a row; They are also the record holders of the prestigious trophy with a total of six times.
