Chelsea reportedly set to loan out its striker in January 2024

Chelsea Football Club are set to let go of Armando Broja to Serie A club, Inter Milan when the January transfer window opens.

He was substituted in the first half of Chelsea's last league game against Burnley in the Premier League. The coach of the Albanian national team confirmed in a post-match conference that the forward player was not fit for the game against the Czech Republic.

"As for Broja, I have to give bad news. He was with the team for only 2 days. After consulting with our doctors and Chelsea, he can’t make it, he won’t be ready for tomorrow. We have other players to evaluate."

Recall that Broja signed a contract extension a few months ago which is expected to keep him at Stamford Bridge until the 2028 summer transfer window.

However, the news does not sit well with some of the club's supporters because of the possibility of Nicolas Jackson leaving in January 2024 to represent Cote D'Ivoire at the Cup of Nations.
