Chelsea player gets a late England call-up
One of Chelsea's sensational star players this season, Cole Palmer earned himself a late call-up to the camp of the Three Lions ahead of the international break.
The former Manchester City player has been fantastic for Chelsea since his arrival during the 2023 summer transfer window. Cole Palmer earned his first spot in England's senior squad ahead of their European Championship qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.
Palmer was originally named in the England Under-21 squad for the upcoming round of international fixtures. They take on Serbia and Northern Ireland in Under-21 European Championship qualifying this week.
The 21-year-old has scored four goals and four assists in his last six matches, the latest of his goals was the penalty in Chelsea's 4-4 draw against Manchester City. He will join his Chelsea teammates, Conor Gallagher and Levi Colwill in the English camp.
