Chelsea Football Club have not relented in their quest to sign a forward player ahead of the new football season (2024/25).

The Blues recently offered 18-year-old Nigerian, Hafiz Umar Ibrahim a two-week trial for him to sell his potential to the club. According to reports from the Evening Standard, the teenager got this opportunity after he spoke with Raheem Sterling via a video call.

He will begin his two-week trial at the Cobham training facility after securing a visa. The forward player currently plays for Ojodu City in Nigeria and was been brought in after a trial at Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt month.

Ibrahim has been on the radar of European clubs after scoring 10 goals in six games at the Viareggio Cup in Italy earlier this year, also scored against Manchester City’s Under-21s during the youth tournament. Chelsea fans will hope their club can sign a proper striker who has a lot of experience under his belt as they look to compete for trophies next season.
