The supporters of Chelsea Football Club were sent to the seventh heaven following their win over Manchester United in the Premier League.

Both teams came into the game to get three points as none of them could afford to get a defeat in their quest to finish in a good position on the league table.

Chelsea scored two goals in the first 20 minutes of the game through the boots of Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer. However, Manchester United came back into the game when Alejandro Garnacho took advantage of a mistake from Moises Caicedo to get a goal back for the Red Devils. Bruno Fernandes ensured the halftime ended 2-2 when he connected to a cross from Diogo Dallot.

The second half started on a good note for Manchester United with Garnacho getting his second goal of the game as the Red Devils went 3-2 up for the better part of the match.

Palmer who has been described by a lot of people as the best signing of the season scored two goals in the final three minutes of the game to secure maximum points for the Blues. The result puts Chelsea in tenth place with 43 points while United remain in sixth place with 48 points.
