An integral part of the Chelsea FC team has finally opened up on his relationship with the team's coach Thomas Tuchel in a recent interview with was shared on the club's official website.

Chelsea FC's first-choice goalkeeper Edouard Mendy opened up on how well he gets along with the team coach Thomas Tuchel.

The Senegalese revealed that he shared a positive relationship with the Chelsea boss which has been made possible as a result of the mutual understanding they have for one another.

Mendy revealed:

‘We have a really good relationship with the coach. He’s always been clear with me, he’s clear with all of the players. He’s always explaining things, trying to make sure the messages are understood,' Edou says.

He’s always looking to explain his decisions so there’s a lot of transparency in what he does, and I think that’s important for the team and of course for myself too. We have a good relationship - we can talk about everything and nothing but when we’re talking about what happens on the pitch it’s always a good exchange of ideas,’
