Chelsea FC Player To Receive The OBE Title From The King Of England
A Chelsea FC midfielder has been recognized by the King Of England, King Charles, in his New Year honours and would receive the OBE title.
The King of England has recognized a Chelsea FC football star for her contribution to football and her role as the captain of Wales, and she would be receiving the OBE title. The blues confirmed in an official post that Sophie Ingle had been named on the King's New Year Honours list and would be receiving the OBE title for her immense contribution towards the game of football as a member of the women's team for Chelsea and Wales.
Sophie Ingle also expressed her excitement, and she revealed that:
‘I am truly honoured to receive this. It is a huge honour for not only myself, but my family and all those involved with the Welsh women’s side who have worked tirelessly to help the platform be where it is today.’
Sophie recently signed a two-year contract extension with Chelsea and will remain at Stamford Bridge till 2024.
