Chelsea Board Takes a Decision on Graham Potter's Future

The future of Graham Potter at Chelsea Football Club is still intact despite the poor run of results.

The board had an emergency meeting on Monday, February 20th, 2023 to discuss the future of the club. According to outcome of the meeting, the hierarchy at Chelsea have decided to back Potter despite the bad run for form.

Nizaar Kinsella of Standard Sport confirmed that Potter will be given the next three games (Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and Leeds United) to build his relationship with the supporters of the club. There remains a healthy respect in the Chelsea squad for Potter's friendly character, even though some are reserving judgement about his ability to do the job.

Chelsea are currently occupying the 10th position on the Premier League table having played 23 games. This is the Blues worse run of form in over two decades.
