Here are the starting lineups for the two sides involved in the Champions League final fixture, Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid.

Two of the biggest sides meeting up for the finals of the UEFA Champions League are the starting lineups for the club involved in the Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid fixture.

Ancelotti has confirmed that Andriy Lunin will be on the bench, while Thibaut Courtois, whom he praised as the top goalkeeper globally, will be the starter in the match in England.

Courtois, who was awarded the Player of the Match in the 2022 final when Madrid triumphed over Liverpool in Paris, has recuperated from an ACL injury to take part in the most significant club football event. In the meantime, Eder Militao, who suffered a similar injury in August, has not been chosen by Ancelotti. Instead, Nacho and Antonio Rudiger are commencing in central defence, with Ferland Mendy and Dani Carvajal as the full-backs.

Eduardo Camavinga is taking up the defensive midfield position, with Fede Valverde and Toni Kroos in central midfield. Jude Bellingham is playing in a more advanced position, potentially acting as a CAM.

With key changes made to the Real Madrid set-up, Carlo Ancelotti in his pre-match press conference opened up on the reason behind his decision as well as what to expect from his team.

He said, "[There's] a lot of respect for the opponent and hopefully everything can go well. The priority is to give the players clear ideas. Be as direct as possible because the more [direct you are], the less nerves the team will have. I'll get to the tactical part. Emotions come later and each person manages them according to their character. Before the game there will be negative emotions, but fear is an important part of doing things well, we must know that. Quality and collective sacrifice have been demonstrated. Both will be the keys tomorrow."
