Ahead of the final match in the Champions League group stages involving Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb, the blues have shared fresh updates on Kepa's match fitness and new injury concerns.

The blues confirmed that Kepa and Mateo Kovacic missed the last round of training ahead of the match. Kepa was confirmed to have been substituted off after the first half of the Brighton fixture due to a foot injury. Mateo Kovacic's situation has not been fully confirmed yet, but he also missed the final training with the squad.

Chelsea also confirmed that Reece James and Wesley Fofana still remain out alongside Kouliably and Kante.

The official statement read:

Kepa was missing from the goalkeeper group having been withdrawn at half-time at Brighton on Saturday with what Potter described as a foot injury. Eighteen-year-old Eddie Beach was the Academy goalkeeper selected to join Edouard Mendy and Marcus Bettinelli, while fellow youngsters Dion Rankine, Lewis Hall and Zak Sturge were also involved.

Kovacic, who left last week’s clash in Austria early with a calf problem but played the full game against the Seagulls, was also absent.
