What did Ruben Amorim say about Casemiro?
The Portuguese international confirmed that he has to see the zeal from his players before they are selected on match days
"He has to be the characteristics and then I have to choose the player with characteristics that I see in the game. So it’s just that. I have to make some choices. I want to play a style of game that is sometimes different from other coaches and I have to choose based on that, that’s all."
Casemiro finds himself behind the likes of Manuel Ugarte, Kobbie Mainoo and Toby Collyer in Ruben Amorim's pecking order. The midfielder was initially linked with a move to Saudi Arabia but the deal failed to see the light of day.
