Carabao Cup ( Quarter-final draw) 2023/24

The quest to win the first trophy of the season in England continued in fine style as eight teams got dumped out of the Carabao Cup while the remaining eight advanced to the quarter-finals of the competition.

The shocking result in the round of 16 was West Ham United's victory over the high-flying Arsenal at the London Stadium. The Hammers won the match 3-1 to set up a clash against the Champions of the 2021/22 season, Liverpool.

Last season's runners-up, Newcastle United slayed two Manchester teams ( City and United) en route their way to the final eight. They must get past Mauricio Pochettino's boys at Stamford Bridge for a place in the semi-finals.

Another Premier League tie will be between Everton and Fulham at Goodison Park while Port Vale will host Middlesbrough for a spot in the final four. The matches will be played commencing from December 18, 2023.
