Bayern Munich and Tottenham reach an agreement for Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Bayern Munich for the signing of Harry Kane.

The Bundesliga club improved their bid of over €100 million for the English International after seeing their initial bid rejected by Spurs. However, the decision is left to Harry Kane if he wants to join Bayern this summer or sign a contract extension with Tottenham, according to the Athletic.

The 30-year-old had always wanted the situation resolved before Tottenham’s opening fixture of the season at Brentford on Sunday, August 10, 2023.

Kane is into the final 12 months of his contract and Tottenham are looking to offer him a new deal which will see him stay beyond this season.

However, there has been no progress on that so far, which has led the club to consider selling their legend in the current transfer window rather than losing him as a free agent next summer.
