It seems as though the Barcelona and Chelsea transfer saga is far from over as the Spanish giants would be looking to swoop in on two of the club's biggest and most influential players that would be out of a contract at Stamford Bridge in June 2023.

According to numerous reports, Barcelona would be making a move for Chelsea's N'Golo Kante and Jorghino who would be out of a contract at the premier league side in June 2023 as contract talks with the two parties and Todd Boehly have not been confirmed yet.

Reports indicate that N'Golo Kante wants more years on his contract while there have been no reports on Jorghino's contract at Chelsea yet.

According to the Evening Standard:

Barcelona want to exploit the contract situations of N'Golo Kante and Jorginho and are keen to sign the Chelsea duo on free transfers next summer.

The midfield pair are both out of contract at the end of the season and will be free to talk to interested foreign clubs from January.

Chelsea are open to renewing the contracts of both players but want to sign Kante on reduced terms from his £290,000-a-week deal due to his fitness struggles.

Only a short-term contract is currently on the table for the France international, who has suffered a setback in his return from his latest injury.
