Barcelona Reportedly Set to Complete Andreas Christensen's Deal

Barcelona Football Club are close on signing Chelsea's center defender, Andreas Christensen at the end of the season.

Transfer News expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022. According to the tweet, Barcelona have improved their bid for the Danish player in the last 48 hours.

Barcelona's head coach, Xavi Hernandez had signified that Christensen is a key part of his team going into the 2023/24 football season. The player is in the final four months of his career at Chelsea and does not look like he will renew his contract with the London club.

The Blues also have Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger's future to sort out as both defenders are in the final months of their careers at Chelsea.
