PREMIER LEAGUE MANAGER SET TO MEET WITH CHELSEA OWNER TODD BOEHLY

The Catalonia club confirmed the news of ending Miralem Pjanic's contract on its official website on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. According to reports from the club, both parties reached an agreement on mutual consent with two seasons left on the deal.

Pjanic joined FC Barcelona in the summer of 2020 from Juventus. In his first season, the Bosnian made 30 appearances in all competitions, including in the Copa del Rey that the team went on to win.

This means the midfielder can join any club even though the transfer window closed on September 1st, 2022 because he is a free agent.
