#AusOpen: Daniil Medvedev Advances to the Round of 16

Daniil Medvedev booked his spot in the next round of the Australian Open in fine style as he got past Netherlands Botic van de Zandschulp.

Medvedev won the game 6-4,6-4,6-2 to book his place in the round of 16. This is the fourth consecutive time he will be reaching the second round of the Australian Open.
Botic took a set from Medvedev at the US Open last year but the Russian was not ready to take any chances this year. Medvedev will play the winner of the game between homeboy Christopher Connell or America's Maxime Cressy for a spot in the quarter-final.
