World Number 1 female tennis player, Ashleigh Barty wrote her name in the history books of the Australian Open by reaching the final in Melbourne.

The Australian booked her spot in the final of the competition in Melbourne by beating Madison Keys in straight sets 6-1,6-3. This is Barty's third grand slam final and her first Australian Open final.
Barry will be looking forward to becoming the first Australian since Christine O'Neill in 1978 to win a single Grand Slam. She will face the winner of the match between Iga Swiatek and Danielle Collins.
