Astonishing Goal Wins Premier League Goal of the Season

The body of the Premier League has announced the goal of the just concluded 2021/22 football season.

The award was given to Liverpool's winger, Mohamed Salah, for his superb goal in the Premier League in the game against Manchester City at Anfield Stadium. The Egyptian King won the award for his skill in leading to the goal, getting past three City players before slotting the ball past Ederson in goal.

The game ended 2-2 between Manchester City and Liverpool, this award is Salah's third of the season. He was award with the highest goal scorer award and the playmaker award ( player with the most assists).

The season, however, did not go as planned for Salah's club, Liverpool having won just the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup losing both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
