Aston Villa Reportedly Accepts Transfer Fee to Sign Lucas Digne

Aston Villa have agreed on a fee of £25m with Everton for the signing of Left-back, Lucas Digne.

Sky Sports News confirmed the deal on its official website on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022. According to reports, Digne is expected to arrive in Birmingham for his medicals with the Villa club today ( Wednesday, January 12th, 2022).

Digne has fallen down the pecking order under manager Rafael Benitez since the start of the 2021/22 season. The French defender has also been on the radar of Newcastle United and Chelsea but Villa seem to have an upper edge in signing the player

The defender will be Aston Villa's signing after Phillipe Coutinho in the January transfer window.
